Reports & News - Van Elsacker-Jepsen (B) - the best Belgian loft on the middle and long distance!
We proudly present one of Belgiums finest lofts on the long distance races and also a preferred supplier of DreamPigeons. In the latest decennium this husband-wifepartnership finished amongst the official national champions of the KBDB (only 12 fanciers can classify each year) nine times. No one ever did better in Belgium on the middle and long distance!
Last year they were unstoppable again, it is very hard to beat these champions from Schilde. Most of the races their loft was already full again while the other hotshots in their region were still waiting for their first arrival.
Serge van Elsackers star has been shining ever since the eighties in the Belgian pigeonfancy. He was crowned 'King' of the Union Antwerpen -the youngest ever- in 1986 and never had to give up his position in the topclass of this 'pigeon university', which was also true for last year.
The result of Gueret (598 km) on september 8th was one from 'outerspace'. On a National level it was: 6, 7, 9, 17, 28, 39, 49, 49, 115, 133, 174, 211, 233, 260, 279, 385, 311, 318 and so on against 3.415 birds. Out of 26 entries 23 were on the resultsheet, 14 of them in the first 10%. In the Kempische Fondclub it was 1 to 11!
Also Bourges (29th of juli) was stunning. He basketed only five old birds in this race, but it didn't lower the odds. The National result in Zone B against 3.403 birds: 8, 15, 42, 81 and 102! 100% result 1:25, an incredible achievement!
Serge has selected some unique material for DreamPigeons, being eleven youngsters originating from his best breeders and racers. in this lot you'll find youngsters of 'Speedy Gonzales' (2nd Olympiadbird middle long distance 2011), 'Temptation' (2nd Provincial Chateauroux 2.718 birds), 'Tinkerbell' (4th Olympiad middle long distance 2011), 'Patriot' (2nd National Limoges Zone B) and so on.
