Registration
+Why must I register on Dreampigeons?

You need a registered account in order to place a bid. When registering, you must enter a number of details, such as your username, password, name and address details and e-mail address.

Bidding
+How can I place a bid?

In order to place a bid, you first have to log in. Then click on the item on which you would like to place a bid. 

If you are already logged in, you will see a block with amount choices and a ‘Place a bid’ button on your screen. If you are not logged in, you will not see any amount choices and a ‘Login to place a bid’ button. If you log in via this button, you will return to the item from where you have logged in.

You can only place a bid or a purchase order if the current highest bid is not in your name. First decide whether you want to place a bid or a purchase order.

Placing a bid

If you would like to place a bid, you must determine the amount in the selection list under ‘Your bid’. Then click on ‘Place a bid’. Your bid will be processed immediately and you will receive an answer to your bid onscreen and via e-mail.

If you would like to place a purchase order, you must determine the amount in the selection list under ‘Purchase order’. Then click on ‘Place a bid’. Your purchase order will be processed immediately and you will receive an answer to your bid onscreen and via e-mail.

+What is a purchase order?

You can submit a purchase order (see conditions) that ensures that an offer is placed in your name, each time a certain maximum amount is reached. When someone submits a bid that is higher than your current bid but is lower or equal to your current purchase order, the system automatically places a higher bid than that of your counter-bidder. Consequently, the highest bid will be in your name again.
 
If there are many bidders, a purchase order always takes precedence. This means that a purchase order of 500 EUR will win against an ordinary bid of the same amount. If there are two equal purchase orders, the bidder who submitted his purchase order first will win the bid.
 
A purchase order is never visible to other visitors/bidders. Your purchase order on our auction website is only visible to you.

+How can I increase my purchase order?

Telephonically placed purchase orders or purchase orders by mail must be received by Dreampigeons no later than 4 hours before the end of the auction. Purchase orders can also be entered via the website.

+When will the duration of an auction be extended?

The end time of the internet auction will be as indicated at the auction. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes before the end of the auction, the closing time for this pigeon/voucher will be extended by 10 minutes and so forth.

+Where can I view the details of my account and bids?

The details of your account can be found on the page My account. You can also find your (recent) bids here.

Payment
+Finalisation and payment

Both buyer and seller will receive an e-mail after the auction with all the information about finalising the auction. Payment must be made by bank or cash within 10 days after the end of the auction. All payments must be made in Euros.

+Shipping costs

Shipping/transport costs are always at the expense of the buyer, unless otherwise agreed upon.
 

Transport
+Delivery time

An indicated delivery time is an estimate of the actual delivery time, which depends on unpredictable factors, such as the weather, changes in the legislation concerning international exports, etc. Nevertheless, the estimated delivery time is a good indication of what you can expect.

+Transport costs

The transport of the pigeons could be arranged by Dreampigeons on request; all additional costs will be borne by the buyer; to be paid before the shipment of the pigeons.

 

+Means of transport

The transport of pigeons must be arranged by the buyer; collections at Dreampigeons or at the seller’s after an appointment by telephone and upon receipt of payment.

The transport of the pigeons and eventual additional costs will be at the expense of the buyer.
 

After sales
+What does one do with a dead pigeon?

Dreampigeons only has an intermediary role; in some cases one needs to contact the seller/purveyor.

+Can the gender of the pigeon be guaranteed?

For old pigeons, the seller/purveyor guarantees the gender; for youngsters this is a mere indication, Dreampigeons only has an intermediary role; in some cases one needs to contact the seller/purveyor.
